AUTO PLUS XP DATA PROVIDER IMPORT

One of the largest obstacles in the automotive parts industry is parts information. Usually data is either been imported using a simple excel price list or entered manually and in most cases simply not entered and managed at all. This is due in large part to the time required to efficiently enter each and every part number for descriptions, interchanges, category, alternates, images, sub-category, kitting, and most importantly vehicle cross reference to make, model, year and engine specifications.

The Auto PlusXP automotive software system allows the end user to manage all of this and more. The problem has always been the amount of time required to enter all of this data and keep it up to date with the manufactures, distributors and the market. The loyal users of the Auto PlusXP system have always asked us if it would be possible to import data directly from their suppliers into the Auto PlusXP Automotive Software system. Data Providers simply follow a standard set of Auto PlusXP Data Provider Import specs and their data can be imported and processed by Auto PlusXP users as often as made available. Using our proprietary technology for compression and file transfer protocol (ftp), data providers make the update files for import available on their servers. The Auto PlusXP user manages ftp connection information supplied to them from the data provider.

In turn, the data provider, free of charge, is supplied an Auto PlusXP Data Provider Import program utility for providing unlock registration codes that restrict or permit the Auto PlusXP users ability to export catalog data for inventory lists, inventory pricing, exporting to AAIA legacy, AAIA ACES, exporting printable price lists, inventory lists and even vehicle application guides. CD catalogs can be exported for sending product CD catalogs to clients and finally the processing, exporting and uploading to your online web shopping cart.
