Many distributors and wholesalers carry multiple lines or manufactures and can send this data to Auto PlusXP automotive shopping cart software users. All manufacture codes or brands are brought in and if there is an existing match between the working data base in the Auto PlusXP system to what the data provider is supplying, a match is automatically made. A mapping can also be made to change a data provider’s code and description to one of your own. A summary is given displaying the old, new and total number of inventory items, brands or manufacture lines, inventory alternate items, inventory interchange numbers, inventory recommended items, inventory kitting items, inventory notes, inventory images and inventory applications to make, model and year supplied by your data provider.
