eBay Motors Parts Compatibility Every part listed on eBay Motors. Compatibility done properly.
The Auto Plus eBay Connector creates your eBay Motors listings from the catalog you already keep in Auto Plus — title, photos, price, item specifics, description and the vehicle compatibility table — keeps them current every night, and tells you exactly what it could not list and why.
An afternoon per listing, and a job that is never finished.
A good eBay Motors listing needs the right title, photos, price, item specifics, a description and — above all — the compatibility table that tells a shopper "this fits your truck." Built by hand, that is an afternoon per part.
Then prices move, photos change and fitment grows, and every listing drifts out of date. The compatibility table also speaks its own vocabulary: five columns — Year, Make, Model, Trim and Engine — in its own spelling, while your ACES data says far more than that.
The connector does the translation from the catalog you already maintain, and keeps doing it every night. You keep running your business in Seller Hub; the connector only writes the catalog side of your listings.
From ACES to eBay's table — without widening a single claim.
What a shopper sees in the listing is what your ACES data says, no more. The connector translates carefully, and anything the marketplace cannot hold exactly still reaches the shopper.
Base vehicles, exactly
An application that states only the base vehicle becomes one exact row for that year, make and model.
Engines and trims, in eBay's words
An application that states an engine or a body becomes the rows whose engine and trim agree with it, using eBay's own strings.
Qualifiers carried word for word
Drive, bed length, transmission and other qualifiers with no column of their own travel in the row's notes, verbatim.
Trucks and powersports
Medium and heavy trucks and powersports use the vehicle lists the marketplace keeps for them.
Nothing dropped
A vehicle not yet on the list, or off-highway equipment, goes into the description as a "Fits" list — so shoppers still read it and marketplace search still finds it.
Read it back
The API Manager reads each listing's live compatibility table back from the live listing, so you can check every row against your data.
Every field from a field you already keep.

Seller Hub stays yours.
- Never touches orders, payments, messages or returns. Seller Hub does all of that, exactly as it does today.
- Never takes over a listing it did not create. Listings you made by hand stay yours.
- Never widens fitment. If the marketplace cannot hold a vehicle exactly as Auto Plus states it, it goes into the description as text — never into the table as a guess.
- Never guesses a condition. A part without a PIES condition code waits until you set one.
- Never edits your data. What it finds is listed under Things to fix, by part number — blocking or advisory — with what to do in Auto Plus.
Run from the Auto Plus API Manager
The connector lives in the API Manager on your own server, under Sales Channels > eBay — with a getting-started checklist, your listings and their live compatibility, the nightly schedule and Things to fix in one place. More about the API Manager.
eBay connector questions.
Does it replace Seller Hub?
No. Orders, stock, promotions, fees, messages and returns stay in Seller Hub. The connector writes the catalog side of your listings and nothing else.
How does ACES fitment become eBay parts compatibility?
Each ACES application is translated into eBay's Year, Make, Model, Trim and Engine rows, in the marketplace's own vocabulary. Qualifiers with no column there travel in the row notes word for word, and vehicles not yet on its list go into the description as a Fits list. Fitment is never widened.
What happens to a listing I edit on eBay?
Auto Plus wins for content, price and fitment on the next update, and the overwrite is reported under What changed. Quantity is eBay's after day one, unless you tell the connector to send your Auto Plus quantity every night.
Can I list a few parts before all of them?
Yes. List one part first lists a single part of your choosing so you can look at it live; the full update follows when you are ready.
Can I try it without creating real listings?
Yes. The connector works on eBay's sandbox, a test copy of the marketplace with no fees and no buyers. When you are ready you switch to your live keys in the same screen.
Is my eBay sign-in shared with Rivers Edge?
No. It is stored, encrypted, on your server, and only the connector on that server uses it. Rivers Edge is not a party to the connection.
